2017 MSMC Spring Dual Sport Ride

Lyda Camp OHV

Oregon State Hwy 6 to South Fork Rd. at mile post 28. South on South Fork Rd 2.6 miles to Lyda Camp Staging Area. Follow Mt. Scott arrows from Hwy 6.

Pre-registration $10 for B course and $15 for the A course. Registration fees on 5/5 and 5/6 is $15 for the B course and $20 for the A course. The last day to pre-register is Saturday, April 22, 2017.

Overnight dry camping in and around Lyda Camp. No hookups or water, but it is free. Portable toilets at Lyda Camp.

Short course (B) is 42 miles - quad trails and gravel roads. B course out is at 9AM. Long course (A) 70 miles - quad trails, gravel roads, and technical single track. A course out at 8AM.

***Caution*** Don't underestimate the length of the courses or overestimate your abilities. The Tillamook State Forest offers challenges that will test riders of all levels. Allow for 4 to 8 hours.

Some of the course will be marked and roll charts will be provided. Roll chart holders are encouraged. Without a roll chart, you will get lost and for some of you, that will happen -roll chart or not!

Mt. Scott Motorcycle Club will sweep both courses and pull markers as they sweep so please stay on the course. Check in at signup when you are done for the day, even if you don't finish. That way we can stop looking for you.

The Tillamook State Forest has multi-use roads and trails that you will be sharing.

ATV Safety Education cards and ATV permits required in the Tillamook State Forest. USFS approved spark arrestors required (99 db max exhaust system).

Cash prizes for the top 3 finishers of each course. Awards for the top 5 finishers of each course.

THIS IS NOT A RACE EVENT. Prizes and awards will be based on games of chance throughout the courses.
